Researchers at the Cleveland Clinic are looking for women who have been diagnosed with Generalized Vulvodynia and/or Provoked Vestibulodynia (aka Vulvar Vestibulitis Syndrome) to participate in a study to test the effectiveness of the medication pregabalin (Lyrica). Women 18 years or older who are using a reliable form of birth control defined as sterilization, hormonal contraception, abstinence or IUD, are invited to participate in this research project. Women must not have a contraindication to pregabalin or history of prior use of pregabalin.

Your participation requires that you attend five follow-up visits over the course of the 11-week study. All study-related expenses (e.g, medication, tests, visits) will be provided at no cost to you.

For more information about this study, please Contact Linda McElrath, Research Nurse Coordinator, at 216-445-2494.
